The Bay
Malton controls four
stretches of the Dane providing some of the best river fishing in this
part of the world. All four stretches are different in character with
tree lined banks to meandering through open field. Some very high
banking, gravel runs, twists and turns, deep holes, in fact every
challenge the river angler could want.
Chubb,
Roach, Dace,
Grayling, Perch, Pike, Trout and Barbel, some in the teens, are the
fish you can target in the Dane.
